Customer Service Mishap or Nightmare?

Awhile back I posted about customer service, wondering is the customer ALWAYS right?


I have been in the middle of a customer service call to India, no doubt, and thought to myself, "am I the idiot?" I would like you to post in the comments section if you have been through a customer service situation that has left you steaming. Post the company it was with and a short summary of what happened. I would like to see that I am not the only one that this is happening to.

I took a call from a woman about a month ago who said she had bought a webcam in my store and that she dropped it on the floor and one of the clips broke off so it won't sit on her monitor anymore. She insisted that we had already exchanged it for her once before for the same problem.

During the course of the conversation her story changed so many times. She even tried to say that it was already broken when she opened the box.

I wish I could strangle some people through the phone. No, the customer is not always right. Sometimes the customer just needs f-off and go away.
