As if Google.com didn't already almost own the world, they went ahead and upgraded Google Maps to include "street view".
The new view allows users to get a "360-degree street-level video from Immersive Media to enable neighborhood walk-throughs in (for now) a few selected areas." Now we can all walk down the middle of the ghetto and not get killed.

I find the "street view" amazing. You should have uploaded a picture with your favorite view, like a boulevard, a park or the side of the city you like the most. At least one person is interested in seeing it :)
