Cracking Down on Showing Crack

Just wanted to comment real quick on an article I read at lunch time. Police starting to crack down on teens wearing pants so low their underpants show. It's about friggin' time! Why can't they just fine the manufacturers that make a pair of pants with a huge ass that hangs to a teens knees? Oh yeah, they would just buy larger pants, right? Oh well, I can't wait to see how far this goes.

When I write in my blog, sometimes it makes me feel a little better about the things I may be writing about. Having a journal online that is 100% secure is a huge help. Everyone spends some amount of time on the internet, if each one of them were to write about what is bothering them that day, maybe they would feel a little better the rest of the day. I don't think it's too much to ask a person to write a little 50-100 word blurb describing their day.

When the members of MyTherapyJournal.com see the progress over a couple of months, it will blow their minds. How many times have you heard from someone that maybe you should talk about your problems, "you'll feel better"? Right, nothing should stop everyone reading this from at least checking it out. City Wide Wi-Fi Would be Nice

Does anyone reading this blog, if there is anyone at all left, have city-wide wi-fi in your area? It should would be a nice thing for a blogger or online business owner, don't you think? Well, I think it would. I own and operate many domain names and think that if I had city-wide wi-fi I would be able to get a lot more done while I am waiting at places throughout the day.

Just a thought, of hint, hint, if anyone cares.

Cosmetic Dentist and Invisalign in San Diego

I am sure by now you have heard of invisalign or know someone that has been to a cosmetic dentist in recent years. Well, I see a website that can get you in touch with a San Diego cosmetic dentist. The website has much information on it to help you decide if the treatment is right for you. Some treatments include:
* Zoom whitening
* Invisalign invisible braces
* Porcelain veneers
* Dental implants

If I ever had to have some cosmetic dentistry done it would most likely be the ZOOM whitening. I have already had braces on my teeth 2 times, so the next thing would be whitening. Give the website a look and tell me what you think!

Do You Yahoo? MSN? or Google?

My homepage is http://www.msn.com/. I like the layout of news, sports and weather. I never go to Yahoo's frontpage, but it seems to be quite popular to others that I have talked to. Google is my favorite search, but the homepage takes too long to customize the way I want it.

So, there you go, what is your opinion on these 3?

Another crappy weather day

Here I see that the weather is the same, again, as it has been for almost a week. Overcast-ish with rain in the forcast and you can bet the forcast is right.

But at least I can blog :)

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk

The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk will be happening all over the country this year and people have been walking since 1989. The walk is a great fundraising tool and to date has raised over $225 million for research. Alzheimer's affects millions of people and with more money to research the causes and cures for this life threatening disease. Sign up today as a team captain and help raise awareness about this disease. Go to the website and read more about their fundraising options.

Walks like this one happen all year round for various reasons and are usually tied into some sort of fundraising venture. I must say that I have participated in a cancer walk back in the day and it was amazing to see the amount of people that show up for these events. It's great knowing that many people care about a cause and will do whatever they can to help out in the time of need.

My grandpa had this disease in his later years and it was hard to see the affects it had on his mind. He was a war veteran and I am sure that wasn't helpful at the same time. So, I am blogging about the walk, would like to participate if I can and I am asking you to do the same if you are able. Take a look at the website and see what you think.

Low Rate Credit Cards from Mint

I am sure you have at least one credit card. I know I have more than one, but I hate looking at the bill, which most of us don't, and seeing what the APR % is. I ask my self if I am so crazy that I would "borrow" money at the rate the credit card companies are charging. I tell myself that I am not that crazy, yet I still have the cards!?!

But now I see low rate apr credit card by MINT. The have an introductory offer and plenty of benefits. Some of them include, no interest on balance transfers for 13 months or 0% on purchases until March 2008. With those kind of benefits, a low rate apr credit card is perfect for just about anyone. If you are looking to improve your credit score with a low rate apr credit card, try this one, it will help you keep up with payments, which is proven to boost your score in short time.

Virgo's Excel at Sex, Love and Money - Hmmm?

I read an article called "Fun Facts About Virgo". The link on MSN.com said "Why Virgo's excel in sex, love and money", so naturally it intrigued me. When I clicked the link I was sent to the astrology center at msn.com.

Some fun facts include:

A Virgo is a helpful friend to have indeed. They are excellent at giving advice,
and they really know how to problem solve. You'll find that a Virgo will remind
you to take good care of yourself, as health is a focal point for them.

Oh yeah and you can't forget about the "Love & Sex" part.
Love and Sex
It's important for the Virgo lover to feel needed by their mates. Outside of the bedroom is where the majority of foreplay is going to happen for this sign. Tactile, methodical and willing to take as long as is needed, they make excellent lovers. Even though the Virgo won't express many words of love, they will show their affections in the bedroom. Virgos prefer to have a few strong connections rather than many partners. Life partners are chosen based on how important and needed the Virgo feels they are in their lives. They are dedicated spouses that love to live on the wild side once and a while.

Nice little article I guess, even if I don't believe in the stuff 100%, it's fun to read.

Weird Clocks? Yeah I Have One

I own a Simpsons Wall Clock. Every single hour, on the hour, the clocks "chimes" to the tune of a famous quote from Homer on TV show, The Simpsons. I have it in my kitchen and I really liked it. It was a Christmas gift a couple of years back. Now I have the voices turned off because I was sick of hearing Homer at two in the morning!

I found a website about Clocks at 1-800-4CLOCKS. I will be choosing a clock from their site and writing a little something about it.

I think if I was to buy any clock from the site, it would be this one. I chose the wall clocks category to look for a unique clock. I like to decorate my recreation room and this one would fit in perfectly. The clock is neat and could fit just about anywhere in a recreation room or bar area. Plus it has a magnetic dart board behind the dial, the clock comes with 6 darts as well.

I also visited the Clocksblog.com and found this interesting post about clock contests and reward programs. The blog is quick and to the point with multiple posts and about 25 categories to read through. If you are a clock enthusiast I would say this blog should be bookmarked.

Plane Explodes in Japan

Passengers sitting on a run way waiting for their plane to park, were surprised by an explosion that happened only one minute after the plane stop moving. 165 passengers including the pilot, who jumped out at the last minute, escaped without injury.

There wasn't any distress call or mayday before the plane landed, according to the traffic controller. The fire was put out in under one hour. Flights to and from Japan are probably discounted :)

Start a Business, What About the Paperwork?

When you go to start a small, or large, business there is plenty of paperwork to complete before you even get you business operating. One thing I always wondered was when I do the paperwork, is it all the correct paperwork and everything that I need?

I found a website that can help. They offer Free corporate forms, virtual office space and executive suites you can use to meet clients or just to have a board meeting. http://www.incparadise.com/ will help you with all the paperwork needed for you to form your LLC or incorporate your business from start to finish.

They can help any business owner in any state with the paperwork they will need to get their business off the ground. One of the most popular states, and I can only imagine why, is Nevada. They love to give small businesses a chance and of course, they do not charge state income taxes.

The people at http://www.incparadise.com/ are not lawyers and they do not charge high fees. They have conference rooms, virtual offices and executive suites available starting at $45 per month. Why not give them a try, they might help you get your business going faster then if you tried doing all the paperwork yourself.

I have a bunch of domain names, including http://www.flixguide.com/, http://www.jwselectronics.com/, http://www.runjumpfetch.com/, and http://www.sukosaki.info/ just to name a few.

I prefer Godaddy.com to purchase my domain names. The support is excellent, the prices are good and if you are looking for add-ons, look no further, they offer a crap load of them. They are reasonably priced as well. I have seen and tried other companies to register my names at, but when I decided to take it to the next level and get a bunch of names, I chose to stick with Godaddy.com.

Review: A Cowboys Wife

This review is to the winner of last weeks movie quote contest. Cowboytf wanted me to review the blog at http://acowboyswife.blogspot.com/, so here goes.

At first glance, the layout is quite busy, but all the information is placed nicely. The posts are long and detailed, like Keeping Your Woman Happy or To Abort or Not To Abort~~That is the Question.

There is also a recipe for biscuits on the left sidebar and a game of pac man in the right, which I think is a nice touch. Some of the colors look like they mesh together, at least on my screen, which makes it a little hard on the eyes. But I would say overall this blog is nice and informative. You can also subscribe to win. Other than that and the cool pointer icon, I would say this blog is going to have a nice following and long life ahead. Give it a look, you won't be sorry.

Personal Loans through Prosper.com

Bid on my listing at Prosper, people-to-people lending

Ever run into a situation where you were hard up for cash and your friends would loan it to you, but with interest? There is always a legality thing keeping you from doing it? Well, I found a website, http://www.prosper.com/, that allows people to loan their money out to other people who need some help, with interest!

The website is set up similar to ebay. People login and post the amount of $$$ and what it's for. Then people can read their listing, credit information included, and decide if they are worth the risk of investing their own personal money to them. They have over 350,000 members and $70 million in loans already funded through the site.

To sign up is free and if you want to loan to others, you just have to verify bank information and make an initial deposit to your account ($50 min). Then, let the searching begin. You look for a listing that suits you and bid on it. The minimum bid is $50 and max interest rate is based on the state you live in. But that's where the eBay like feature comes in. If you bid $50 at 29.88% interest, but someone bid $50 at 23.88%, at the end they would get funded. The auction style is helping the borrower get a better interest rate at the same time, people funding more can live with a lower rate, so their money will get funded before yours.

All loans are 3 years max at $25,000 the max amount. Payments are made via checking account on the 1st of every month. It's really a sweet deal, check it out and if you'd like, bid on my listing.

Barry Bonds, Big Deal, right?

So, Barry Bonds finally smacked the home run that will make him forever famous. But will it be remembered as the home run that broke the record, or will it be remembered as a home run that tainted baseball? I say that because most people will always remember the home run, but will only associate it with his alleged steroid use.

Bummer for Barry I guess, he should have thought about that before he was getting muscle mass faster than the incredible hulk.

ShoeMoney Said It Best with Baroids

It is tough to even think about Barry Bonds getting the home run record without thinking about the fact that he may have taken steroids. Some people argue that he does baseball as a living, why can't he bulk up naturally? That is fine, but was it naturally?

I have a small thing about people in sports getting paid the big bucks but also feel like the HAVE to perform and are pressured into things like this. Whether to get more money on contract day or just to feel good about breaking the home run record, either way, it puts a bad name on sports. Bummer!

Another Movie from Rob Zombie: Halloween the Movie

A new movie written and directed by Rob Zombie will be released on Aug. 31st. I included a clip of the trailer for, Halloween the movie. I am sure it will be a kick-ass movie. Check out the trailer here posted on YouTube.com. I like horror type movies of this nature and I think the trailer looks really promising, BUT you just never know.

Rob Zombie will for sure pack the movie with tons of horror and probably some hot babes that may or may not get naked. I am just speaking from seeing his movies in the past. Sometimes remakes are good and sometimes they are not, but it really all comes down to how much more the director packs into the movie that wasn't originally there. These days it is tough to create a remake that people will flock to, at least if they know about the original. But with trilogies like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, these things are still possible.

My favorite scary movies include The Blair Witch Project, Saw series and the original Friday the 13th. I know that Rob Zombie loves to step up to the table, so I think putting his own twist in Halloween the movie will be entertaining for sure. Be sure to check out the trailer at least, then you can decide if you'll hit up your local movie theater to see the real deal.

Snug Cottage

If you are traveling to the Boston area any time soon, Provincetown to be exact, make sure you keep an eye open for Snug Cottage. Provincetown lodging boasts a nice Cape Cod style bed and breakfast dubbed Snug Cottage.

Take a romantic weekend and enjoy the best of the Boston area. I always liked the thought of going to a nice bed and breakfast in a nice small town. I will be planning a trip to Vermont soon and maybe I will take a side trip to check out the provincetown lodging, at Snug Cottage.

I don't travel that much, but when I do I tend to look online for the best places to stay. Area attractions, dining and entertainment are always the main things I keep in mind when comparing.
