New & Used Material Handling Equipment

During the day I work for a large plastics extrusion company in the Midwest. We have many materials moving all over the building all day and night long. Have box tippers, pallet jacks, fork lifts, material lines and storage is a major part of the business.

AMHBoston.com has new and used material handling equipment. Pallet racks, shelving, carts, trucks and conveyor units. Just about everything you need to get material from one place to another safely and cost effectively.

Material handling equipment can make ones job easy on the mind, body and soul. Where I work, back in the day they used shovels and did everything by hand. With new technology material handling equipment has advanced and makes everyones job a little easier. There is less stress every day and less aches and pains. Not to mention that sometimes it's more safe to have a machine assist in your duties.

Google Adds "Street View" to Maps

As if Google.com didn't already almost own the world, they went ahead and upgraded Google Maps to include "street view".

The new view allows users to get a "360-degree street-level video from Immersive Media to enable neighborhood walk-throughs in (for now) a few selected areas." Now we can all walk down the middle of the ghetto and not get killed.

Mother, 3 Children Found Dead in Home

A mother, separated from her husband, was found dead along with her 3 small children. All were hung in a closet in their mobile home. An 8 month old has survived and is in good condition at a nearby hospital.

I am sure by now you have heard or seen this story. What a tragedy. Murder-suicide is suspected but the investigation is ongoing. How do people bring themselves to do things like this?

This is nothing new to Texas apparently. There have been 3-4 other cases like this where the children are killed by the mother in the last 5 years. All of the woman were found innocent by reason of insanity. I just don't get that.

PayPerPost Expands Services with PPP Direct

PayPerPost (a website that manages blog advertising) would like to let you know about how they put ANOTHER feather in their cap. Last update they unloaded a PPP Direct feature which allows advertisers to contact bloggers directly for paid posts.

Bloggers get a badge to put on their blog, set their own price and when advertisers click the badge they are asked to fill out some details about what they want the blogger to do. They also have the option of negotiating the price with the blogger.

Some others like ReviewMe charge 50%-100% markup for a service that is similar. PayPerPost Direct charges 10% and that's it. 5% of that goes to Paypal processing fees.

It has never been easier for bloggers to accept offers and get money for their hard work. Plus with PPP payment service through Paypal.com, you have the security that you will be paid with their escrow-like service.

Miss Japan WIns Miss Universe, It's Only Been 50 Years!

Donald Trump said it best with "She is an amazing champion, an amazing woman and I hear that they go totally insane in Japan, so that's good.”

Japan is going nuts only because it's the first time in 50 years that Miss Japan has won Miss Universe. There were a couple of mishaps in the competition though. 2006 Miss Universe nearly dropped the 250,000 tiara while trying to place it on the head of the winner, Riyo Mori.

Miss USA Rachel Smith, took a tumble during the evening gown competition, so there goes her chances. And to top it off, she was jeered by the Mexican crowd as she began her interview.

Between the couple of mishaps and the contestants starting to act like humans (getting busted or exposed for this or that) I am beginning to think it might be interesting enough to actually waste some TV time on.

Charles Nelson Reilly Dead at 76

Charles Nelson Reilly is most likely the only reason I ever watched old re-runs of the game show "The Match Game". His answers were so funny and his antics made the audience roar with excitement on every occasion.

He had crazy outfits and not to mention his glasses that were all big and 70's-ish :) The guy was so of out there, but everyone could relate to him in one way or another. Hats off to Charles, what an excellent career. Rest in peace.

Some Pig! Whoa! Is That a Paintball Gun?

Take a look at the picture. I know it isn't, but does the gun not look like a paintball gun? LOL. What a huge pig and to think that it was cruising around out in the woods for how long?

The 11 year old said he shot the pig 8 TIMES with a .50 caliber revolver, chased it for 3 hours through the hills and finished it off with a point blank shot. Poor pig. I can't help but feel sorry for it. He probably never bothered anyone. Either way, quite an interesting story and that's why it's on H.A.M.M. News.

Reseller Plans Make People Money

Do you know how to make money online? Chances are good that you know someone that is making a living or a decent 2nd income from the internet. I like to look around for new ideas and maybe even give one or two a try if I have some time.

In the past I have been sticking to my affiliate programs or payperpost.com. I also run an electronics ecommerce website in my free time. I just got a link to a website that sells a reseller program that isn't like any other. Their basic and pro reseller packages include many features, as well as, Google Adwords credits.

Become a basic reseller and get features that include:

  • SSL Certificate

  • Free email accounts

  • No Risk Money Back Guarantee

  • Pro Reseller is also available for $160 per year.

    Got Money? Not this much

Coca-Cola acquires Energy Brands for $4.1 billion! That's right folks, you heard it right, $4.1 BILLION. Is that any indication as to how lucrative the flavored, or in this case, vitamin water is? I would have to say "yes", big time!

Vitamin water usage is on the rise, just take a look at any grocer or convenience store, the shelves are packed full of flavored water or what have you. I am not saying it's not good for you, I just can't believe that Coca-Cola is sticking their heads out THAT far for the future of vitamin water.

Eventually it will disappear, or there will be only ONE brand to buy, (for Coca-Cola's sake, I hope it's Energy Brand) and all the rest will be history.

    Seduce a Celebrity at GoFish.com

Do you think that you can seduce a celebrity? Can you make a short film about what you would do if you won a date with a celebrity? GoFish.com has just the thing for you and it's called "Seduce a Celeb". Rules are simple and pulled right from the site:

    Step 1:
Watch the introduction to the Seduce a Celeb promotion. Mirelly will explain how the promotion works.
    Step 2:
Watch Mirelly's videos with 3 specific calls to action and create a video for each one. Be as creative as possible; now is the time to separate yourself from the competition.
    Step 3:
Upload your videos and you will be entered for a chance to win a date with Mirelly Taylor! Mirelly Taylor, has been in movies like "Kiss Me Again" and "Serving Sara", as well as, television shows including “Punk’d”, and “Numb3rs”.

Seems pretty easy right? That's what I think too. It's worth a try and why not, you just might make yourself a star in the process. Do you know how many people are turning into rockstars because of videos they uploaded to YouTube.com? Give a shot, it's well worth the time to give it a try! If you like the video that I got right from their site, you can check out other Free videos at GoFish.com. There are plenty of hilarious entries already, be creative and you just never know.

    Creepy Crawly Ghost Hunters!

I am getting quite excited over the last week or so about the return of one of my favorite television shows, Ghost Hunters. The show is on the SciFi channel Wednesday nights I think. Anyways, SciFi has been showing past episodes to get the fans all "hot and bothered" about the new season to start on June 6th.

For those of you who have never seen it. It features 2 plumbers by day, Ghost Hunters by night and a crew of curious young adults that want to believe. They go to various locations with tons of equipment and "camp out" for the night in hopes of catching the "Holy Grail", an apparition on film. The show has some drama to it, only because you get that from different people and personalities, but it's not all soap opera on your ass. That's what I like about it, real footage and no script!

Some of the shows are boring, they may not always find evidence of the paranormal, but when they do, it's raw footage and is creepy as all get out! I know some of my readers are huge fans of the paranormal. I am into the paranormal a little more than the average guy, but that's only because I want to see something with my own eyes.

I have heard some mind bending stories about the paranormal, as well as, seen some crazy footage on the internet and television. But that does nothing for me if I cannot see it with my own eyes, right in front of me. I live in the Midwest, old towns and cemeteries are everywhere, with the occasional "haunted house" tossed in there to mix it up a bit. I will see something eventually, but that would mean I have to actually start looking :)

    Enjoy the show!

    Roman Blinds for Your Home

Reading through Terry's Fabrics, I came across their roman blinds. Directly from the website it reads:

"Crisply pleated into neat horizontal folds, Roman blinds have the pared down, functional look that's perfect for a modern home and is economical on fabric too.
A neat and elegant style, Roman blinds look very simple from the front, falling in a series of level folds to the sill. But behind the streamlined pleats, a clever system of rods, slipped into tape casings at the back of the blind, holds the folds straight."

Roman blinds seem nice and lay completely flat when they are lowered all the way. They use very little fabric, but look nice and the prices are excellent as well. Just looking at a couple of different kinds; Bamboo Wood Roman Blind = 33% off or Nigeria Roman Blind = 19% off.

The website offers easy navigation, as well as, "easy on the eyes" layout. Check out Terrys Fabrics for all kinds of window treatment kits. I, myself, like blinds over curtains, so the selection that is on the website is definately right up my alley.

MENSCIENCE CAPTURES WIN AT MEN’S HEALTH 2007 GROOMING AWARDS

MIAMI, FLORIDA – April 24, 2007 – From hundreds of men’s skincare and grooming products, Men’s Health Magazine has chosen the MenScience Microfine Face Scrub as Best Face Scrub of the Year in the 2007 Grooming Awards.

Each year, Men’s Health Magazine gathers a panel of skincare and grooming experts from across the country to judge a wide array of men’s products. Through precise testing and evaluation, the panel decides on the best and most effective men’s products for every aspect of a grooming/skincare routine: from shaving to hair care to face/body care. The Microfine Face Scrub was singled out for honors due to it’s unique blend of exfoliating ingredients such as salicylic and glycolic acids, as well as the presence of physical exfoliators such as microfine buffing particles.

MenScience president Federico Sanchez commented on the win: “We’re all very happy about winning this award. Because we use professional-grade ingredients in our formulas, men can immediately see results when using our line. It’s great to see that a magazine like Men’s Health also recognizes how effective our products really are.”

The Microfine Face Scrub will be featured in the May issue, as well as online at www.Menshealth.com. Men’s Health Magazine is the largest circulated men’s lifestyle magazine in the world, and has acted as a trusted source for men’s health, fitness and grooming since 1987. This award marks the second time MenScience has been honored by the magazine: the Buff Body Gloves were also spotlighted in the 2005 Men’s Health Grooming Awards.

    ABOUT MENSCIENCE:

MenScience Androceuticals offers professional-grade grooming, skincare and nutritional products based on cosmeceutically-active ingredients that deliver maximum efficacy and visible results. It is their goal to revolutionize skin care and nutritional support for men with unique and innovative products offering the highest level of performance and quality.

    ------------------------------------------

I have been looking for a face scrub that doesn't irritate my skin when I am clean shaven. Menscience.com has men's skincare products and nutritional supplements for sale. Their MicroFine Face Scrub was just named "face scrub of the year" in the Mens Health Grooming Awards! Going to www.menscience.com to look for a new facial scrub is not a bad idea. I use the internet for price comparison shopping (beats going store to store), so I am always up for new helpful websites. If they have a product or two that I think I would like to try, then I will most certainly buy from them.

    Hank Aaron doesn't care?

Should Hank Aaron be upset that Barry Bonds is creeping up on his home run record? No, but should he be upset that Barry is also taking a pill to boost performance? YES. Back in the day there wasn't anything these guys could do. They worked hard for what they accomplished and now in today's society we are trying to let children and young adults now that drugs are bad, yet we have no problem showing Barry Bonds hit that last home run and cheer him on for it. Everyone knows that they guys is pumping up his game and not naturally!

I think it paints a poor picture to up and coming athletes and possibly makes them feel like they have to "enhance" their performance to get to the top of their game. I think that Hank Aaron not being all the excited is just the way he should act. When asked what he will be doing if Bonds hits that magic home run? "Probably playing golf somewhere". Very well said indeed.

    Paintball Season is Here

Paintball season is upon us and there is only ONE place to get discount paintball equipment. You can get discount paintball guns, as well as, discount paintball markers from www.pntball.com. I have never tried paintball wars or even shooting a paintball gun for that matter. But when I watch the pros on TV do it, it certainly looks like a crap load of fun.

Maybe this year I will break down from my cheap ways and hit up pntball.com for some discount paintball guns. Join me, they have excellent prices and FREE shipping!

    There top selling guns include:
    Tippmann A-5
    Tippmann 98 Custom
    Smart Parts Ion
    Spyder Pilot ACS

My brother has always wanted me to get one so we could "duke it out", but I haven't. Guess I am a chicken :) Visiting the website, it appears they have quite a selection of products and accessories. I don't think I will be disappointed if I end up buying from them.

    Synthol: Steroids for your Steroids

Yesterday at work, a fellow employee, walked up to me and mentioned that I needed to go to abcnews.com and check out this guy with 30 biceps. Huh? was my natural reply and he said that he was using this new drug that inject directly into the muscle body for a TEMPORARY enhancement. Now I am intrigued. Let's go check this out!

When I saw the guy I couldn't believe it. What a moron, right? I just don't get it, but I guess it is like any other sickness in the head.

The picture shows the first guy I saw. I did an image search in google.com, but to my surprise, I didn't find that many other pictures out there on the internet of this new thing in weight lifting. It looks like the guy has a snake for an arm and the "snake" just ate a human head! What a crazy world we live in! Whatever, but I am sure he can pull his truck around now that the price of gas is skyrocketed again.

    Review Me Website

Just tried to add this blog to my account so that I could maybe make $5 or so reviewing fellow bloggers, but the site rejected my blog :( I think it was because I don't have any traffic numbers, or at least, not very good ones. Hopefully within the next month that will be changing. I will be posting with more descriptive titles, better keyword use and maybe even do some directory listings. Hope it works! I don't mind giving my 2 cents.

    Go Brewers!

I don't follow baseball all that much, but the Brewers have been doing pretty well lately and caught my attention. Be that as it may, lastnight when Turnbow let a homer go in the bottom of the 9th, it was like the good Ol' Brewers again. But I must say the Grand Slam the other day against the New York Mets was pretty cool, even though Brewers won 12-3 :)

    Netflix Appreciation Card

Have you tried Netflix yet? Well, I have been a member for about a year and all my family and friends love it. Good thing right? I get a movie, watch it, let them watch it and they send it back, we get a new one in a couple of days. BUT today I got a card from netflix in the mail wanting me to give away a FREE month trial of unlimited movies to family and friends!

Good thing right? Not really, nobody will be calling me anymore wondering what movie is next on the list. Or even stopping over every other day to be the first to grab the netflix movie I just got done watching. This is a bummer, so I am not even sure I am going to tell anyone :) I like being the center of the movie attention with my family and friends, is that a bad thing?

    TV Show: A Haunting

Have you seen the TV show "A Haunting"? It chronicles real stories of the paranormal. Mostly with bad re-enactments, but sometimes with the actual people that it effected. Tonight was an episode that I haven't seen before and it was quite freaky. The show doesn't show enough ghostly episodes, mostly are about demons and possession. Check it out if you have the Discovery Channel in your area or on cable. It's quite educating to say the least.

Win a Date with Mirelly Taylor

What would you do if you won a date with a big name celebrity? Take her to a movie, arcade, dinner, make out point? Ok, ok. Most likely you would freak out if this was happening. Well now it can happen, at GoFish.com. GoFish.com is running a contest to win a date with Mirelly Taylor from "Kiss Me Again" and "Numb3rs".

The show, called Suduce a Celeb, will run on GoFish.com for 14 weeks. There are already some very hilarious Free videos at GoFish.com. There are other celebs on the site as well.

I think it could be a fun type of show to be on. Comparing it to other dating type shows, this one could be a modern version of "Love Connection". Ok, maybe not, but you get the picture.

I think everyone should participate in this contest because it would bring out some talent that some of us didn't think we had. Mirelly Taylor is a big name in the industry, so just imagine who the next celeb could be. Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Alissa Milano, just to name a few.

So, go check out the Free videos at GoFish.com and submit one of your own. Tell us how you would seduce a celeb!

    My Day

My day sucked today. Went out to the in-laws house to "pet-sit" for their new doberman. It was ok at first, but her ears are still healing and when she bumps them on things it is kinda scary.

Then the rain started in. About 10ish and it has finally let up. I know that I have no control over the rain, but this is my last day off before 4 in a row, one off, then 10 in a row. So I was hoping for better weather I guess. Oh well, life goes on.

    I love PayPerPost, so far

If you haven't heard about payperpost.com yet, where have you been? News and buzz has been flying around the net so fast lately you'd have to be under a rock for sure. The website allows bloggers to review products, services or even do blog reviews for money. I have been a member for about 3 months now, my first blog was approved alittle less then on month and I am just cresting the $100 mark for about 12 posts. I like the website, the idea and I like to blog, so I think it works out pretty well for me. In fact this post is sponsored by PayPerPost. I have met some fellow bloggers with same interests.

Because some advertisers require you to have a higher PR rating to accept the opp, it has forced me to improve my blog and blogging, which would have taken longer if I did it without a reason :) Check out the site if you haven't already and let me know what you think, I know you will have an opinion~!

Spring is in the Air, Let the Crime Begin

Every year, at least where I come from, when the weather gets nice, the creepy crawlies come out of the wood work in massive droves. Crimes go up, especially stupid ones. It never amazes me enough to stop laughing at dumb criminals and the crimes they commit. Is it something in the air, would I be that retarded if I was to commit a crime? I would like to think that I have at ONE up on those types of criminals. What do you think? LOL Only the people that know me can answer and it would be an easy one. Enjoy your day!

    Lowest UNIQUE Bid Wins

I have read about and seen this website here and there on the Internet. It's a new type of auction website where you bid on excellent prizes, BUT the lowest bid that is unique from the rest is actually the winner. Confused? I was too, at first. The I went to check it out and read through and the mumbo-jumbo and it is know clear as mud, wait I mean crystal.

This website is shacking up everything that we know about auctions and the prizes aren't that bad either! I picked out the car :) There are others though; like TV's or computer monitors.

Drunk students learn lesson from peeved giraffe

Does the title speak for itself in this one? I was still sort of curious as to what lesson they were taught, so I clicked the link. The story is comical and not any surprise. Although the story could have ended much more tragically than it did, at least they are investigating how the drunk students got over then fence (??)

    Fantasy Football, already?

Every year I get together with a couple of family members and co-workers to set up a fantasy football league. This year I was talking about last years disappointments and thing like that when I mentioned that I came across a new website. The website is called the American Fantasy Football League.

We all know how competitive fantasy football leagues can get. AFFL.com gets everything together for you all in one place to make it as easy as it can for you. There are 5 levels of membership from FREE to $1,200 entry fee. With prizes rewarded for various things throughout the fantasy football season. I am thinking of getting my family together and trying out this site, which is new to me. I like to try different ones based on ease of use, downtime of the site, design of the site and of course the prizes. Take a look at the rules and regulations before you get started to make sure it's legal for you to join and play the paid membership levels. As always the FREE members are open to anyone.

    Song of the Day

I am not sure if any one else but me noticed, but I put up a "song of the day" to download. I will be posting these as I come across them while traveling through the "back in the day" memories. Most of them will be older and most likely 80's rap or rock :) Hopefully you enjoy them and if you haven't heard of them, give them a try and see what you think.

    Bug: Movie Trailer

bug movie trailer. This movie looks quite interesting, almost a breath of fresh air when it comes to this type of movie. In that, I mean the idea or story seems original. Bug movie, reminds of movies like "28 Days Later" in a way. I think it will be a hit for those who are into this type of thriller suspense movie.

I like suspense thrillers and horror movies. The trailer was enough to grab my attention and after I saw the movie poster, I was even more curious. It sort of looks like a bug and is quite intriguing. Once I saw the trailer I was impressed by how the poster pulls me into what the trailer shows.

Bugs that will get into your blood stream and feed on your brain. Hopefully this isn't a dud, because it could cause quite a stir throughout the country. Maybe even as big a stir as Jaws did or The Blair Witch Project.
I have seen a lot of movies like this that are well done. The two mentioned above were done perfectly and the actors fit the part. The trailer looks creepy, sort of made my skin crawl a bit. I will not be able to wait to see this one in the theaters with surround sound. I usually like to post reviews here as well, I will just add this one to my list now. Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think.

    Weather of the Day

The weather today was fantastic, finally. I am from the Midwest and we have all be waiting for weather like we had today. Warm south wind and sunshine most of the day, it's pretty much the best you can ask for this time of the year. Of course, we'll probably see snow one more time :)

Hopefully the weather lasts so that I can get some much needed yard work done. My dog has been itchin' to get outside as well. Hope all is well. Have a good day!

Coupon Chief has What You Need

A lot more people are shopping online these days. I like to search for coupons online before I go to checkout. Websites like, Coupon Chief, allow merchants to post coupons for potential customers to use. The customer will take the coupon codes and click through to the merchants site to use it. In return the merchant is getting more targeted traffic for their products.

Recently my girlfriend went to Coupon Chief to check and see if they had some coupons for Proflowers.com to get flowers for Mother's Day. They did and they have over 1,000 other stores as well. Check them out today and don't forget flowers for Mother's Day!

    Brain Tumor Treatment Awareness

Have you ever heard of radiosurgery? I know a young lady with cancer that has tumors all over her body, including her brain. Her and her family have tried all conventional treatments, but I am not sure if they tried radiosurgery.

With all the valuable information here, I don't see why anyone with a tumor or similar situation wouldn't give radiosurgery a try. Visit the above links for more information on this topic.
    Snip taken from http://www.braintumortreatment.org:

"Accuracy is the single most important aspect
    of stereotactic radiosurgery
Gamma Knife radiosurgery sets the bar for accuracy, with guaranteed precision that enhances physician confidence and ensures patient safety.1
This superior level of accuracy is due to three factors:
    1. Gamma Knife was designed specifically to provide the very best radiosurgical treatment of brain tumors
    2. The radiation source never moves
    3. The patient’s head is stationary
When treating a target as delicate as the brain, neurosurgeons try to avoid any movement that might reduce accuracy. CyberKnife, a linear accelerator used to treat the whole body, has a continually moving arm."

    Mothers Day is Coming!

What are you getting your mother for Mother's Day? I hate this, but I usually wait until the last minute because I always think something will just jump up at me. Nothing ever does and I usually find myself walking around a department store or flower shop looking for anything but usually something specific to my mothers interests.

I am sure I am not the only one, at least I hope not :)

    Customer Testimonials Worth Viewing?

"I love you. You are awesome. Thank you so much for your prompt response to my original query. Not only surprised at how cool you are, but also tremendously appreciative. Please do charge my card on file for the original merch. I'd rather keep it and support your good works than put the shoes in the landfill. I can use them for more humble pursuits. You are awesome. Thank you so much, Carly S."

This is a customer review or testimonial from giant shoe retailer Zappos.com. Just reading it sort of made me wonder if customer testimonials are legit, or worth it for that matter. It really has nothing to do with the website or purchase and makes me think. I just thought I would post this and see what others think about it.

    Digg.com; have you been there?

Digg.com is a website that allows it's users to upload stories about news, technology, science, world & business, sports and even reviews on games, movies and television shows.

I have uploaded a couple of things to experiment on the site to see if that specific link gets additional traffic from Digg.com. I have only one story uploaded that has 5 diggs, but that is it. You really have to upload an interesting story to get people to digg! it and for it to end up on the front page, then the "diggs" will come a knockin'.

Some people, according to stories on the front page today, some people are not a fan of Digg.com and the stories that end up on the site. Take a look for yourself, add a story from your local newspaper, just for fun :)
